ROBERTA HOLUM, 95, Zionsville, Indiana, died December 10, 2011. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 18, 1915. Roberta is remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by son, Charles Holum. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Theodore Holum; daughter, Carolyn Swingler; granddaughters Sharon (Tom) Rockwell, Debra (Rick) Webb, one great-granddaughter, one step-great-grandson, and one step great-granddaughter. Interment will be at St. Luke Lutheran Church Cemetery, Itasca, Illinois, at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Roberta was a loving, caring sweet woman! It was very sad to hear the news! I had the pleasure of doing her hair while she lived at Zionsville meadows. She was a joy to be around! I loved going and speaking with her and her husband they are such a wonderful couple! She will be missed!.. I spoke with Ted about Roberta today and he said that Roberta had past on and I said yes she has gone to heaven and the sweetest thing i have ever heard..his response.. “She was a wonderful woman and deserves to be in heaven.” Both two very special people!
